All enrolled students are expected to uphold discipline, academic integrity, and respect for campus community standards at KITM.
Ignorance of rules is not an excuse.
Violations may result in warning, fine, suspension, or expulsion as per institute policy. Report ragging immediately—see

General conduct
- Students must carry valid ID cards on campus and during examinations.
- Mobile phones and electronic devices are restricted in classrooms and examination halls unless permitted.
- Dress code and grooming standards must be followed as notified by the institute.
- Smoking, alcohol, and prohibited substances are strictly banned on campus.
Attendance & academics
- Minimum attendance as per university/affiliating body norms is mandatory for examination eligibility.
- Assignments, projects, and internal assessments must be submitted on schedule.
- Malpractice in tests or exams leads to disqualification and disciplinary action.
Library, laboratory & property
Books, equipment, and institute property must be used responsibly. Loss or damage may be charged to the student. Library fines and overdue rules apply as displayed in the library.
Fees & documents
Fee instalments must be paid by due dates. Delay may attract late fees or withholding of admit cards and results—see admit card and result sections. Fee payment options are listed under online payment.
